Terms of Service
The rules for using Gim, its website and dashboard. Last updated 19 October 2026.
Using the bot
By adding Gim to a server, using its commands or logging in to the dashboard, you agree to these terms, to Discord's Terms of Service and to Discord's Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, don't use it. “We” means the team that runs Gim.
What you can't do
- Use the bot to spam, harass, raid or break Discord's rules, or to get around a ban or a limit Discord set.
- Try to break, overload or get around the bot, its rate limits or the dashboard, or get at data that isn't yours.
- Use custom messages, tags or embeds to send malware, scams or anything illegal.
- Pretend to be someone else on your profile, or use it to harass people or ask strangers for money.
- Report pictures as scams when they aren't, to get them blocked.
- Use confessions to threaten, harass or expose someone. Being anonymous to members doesn't hide you from a server's moderators.
Server owners
You choose how the bot behaves in your server: its moderation actions, filters, automatic punishments and every custom message it sends there. You're responsible for those settings and for who you give access to them, including your confession channel and who can see who sent a confession.
Your profile
You're responsible for your bio and the accounts you link. Payment accounts (Cash App, PayPal, Venmo) are shown at your own risk, and we're not part of any money that changes hands.
If the rules are broken
We can stop a user or a server from using Gim, or remove it from a server, at any time and without warning, especially when someone is abusing it.
The service
- Gim is free and provided “as is”, with no guarantee it will always be online, fast or error-free.
- AI answers can be wrong and aren't professional advice. You're responsible for how you use them.
- Features can change or be removed. Paid features aren't offered yet; if they are, they'll come with their own terms.
- As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses caused by the bot, by downtime, or by how a server configured it.
Changes and contact
These terms can change, and the date at the top shows the last change. Using Gim after a change means you accept the new version. Questions go to our support server. How we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.
